Compressed air and gas compression apparatus

VPT-Kompressoren GmbH produces and supplies industrial firms and workshops with compressed air and
gas compressors (oil-injected rotating screw compressors). The optimization concept behind the user-
specific equipment includes project development, design, production, installation, commissioning as well as
staff training and maintenance. VPT Kompressoren employs 30 people.

As a result of international environmental regulations (e.g. in offshore drilling), it is no longer possible today
to burn residual gases (torch). Gas compressors are used to compress the gases which are otherwise not
usable, and to conduct them to ecologically sound recycling. The gas is either fed to a gas turbine (for on-
site power generation) or pressed into a long-distance line.
Since the gases are often aggressive and the equipment is installed in a corrosive environment, the tube
lines are generally made of VA 1.4571. VPT systems are used, for example, on drilling platforms, in power
plants or biogas systems.
